Selene is INCREDIBLE and truly the full package for a seamstress. She helped me alter my BERTA wedding gown and there is no one else I would trust with such a valuable and delicate dress! My wedding was back in 2021 but due to her moving locations I’m resubmitting my review with some updated information!I believe in Selene so much that I’ve recommended her services to my two close friends! They both have shared similar experiences and have felt supported, comforted, and await their gowns to be ready soon!I brought my two wedding dresses (COVID bridge) to Selene and am forever grateful I found her one night in a deep google review rabbit hole. TRULY – LOOK NO FURTHER !!! She was (and remains) respectful, honors the unique integrity needs of each dress, provides in-depth help and knowledge about alterations to align with your vision!One of my dresses Selene practiced restraint, caution and recommended I not make any alterations due to the bias silk fabric not aligning with my vision of alterations (bias silk can be wavy if cut off bias) – we wound up not doing a center slit and I’m so grateful I had someone prioritize end result over short-term profit. This type of humility is hard to find in today’s market.I felt SO comfortable with Selene and she made sure my Berta dress fit me perfectly on my day. She is so patient, lovely, knowledgeable, and timely! I recommend her without hesitation – to the point that I advocated for Berta Bridal to list her as a on their website (receipts added in info). Berta did add her to their recommended seamstress list – however appear to have taken her down in place of their own in-house seamstress. Sadly a friend recently had a new Berta gown ruined by their in-house seamstress (wish I was kidding). If only they kept Selene!Whether your gown is silk, beaded, structured, unstructured or anything in between – Selene is your girl!

Selene was absolutely wonderful. I bought a dress on Etsy for my wedding reception that was big on me and didn’t fit right. I was disappointed. But I took the dress to Selene and she worked magic. I fell in love with the dress and it fit me perfectly. If you have a dress that you need someone you can trust to fix it, it would be Selene. The dress was very detailed and had lace sleeves.
