Smokey is going back to Fluidfreeride – electric scooters because I’ve had all sorts of issues straight out the box at this point I’m just waiting for them to send me a return label apparently it takes more than 1 business day to send it via email. I had issues with my inokim light 2 to straight out the box broke fender and european charger. Against my better judgment I went with them again. I played myself well you live and learn. I’m good on you Fluidfreeride… I’ve Corresponded with Jose, Alex, And Adam..

I had a wonderful experience at fluidfreerides. Chuck is the man . He is very knowledgeable about PEVCame over to check out the shop after some time chuck was like ” you want to do a demo ride ” which I did even to the point I got test ride his own personal wolf warrior x , after a few days return as promised and purchased a mantis fluidfreerides edition . Set up the ride myself in the shop and chuck let me charge my scooter in the store after which I rode home. Two borough trip zero issues besides running out where to go .. highly recommend a visit for anyone looking for their first or another PEV

Chuck is the NYC scooter GOAT/OG for sure. Been toying with the idea of a scooter for over 4 years, finally decided to make the jump. Test drove a bunch of scooters and decided that what I thought I wanted wasn’t what I wanted. They gave me a very fair deal on some older/last-gen stock, and I couldn’t be happier for what I needed. I’d imagine this is what smoking crack feels like, in a small enough package that you can take it on a bus or train without hassle.It’s been three days and I already have over 30 miles hard ridden on a mix of city streets and upstate NY off-road. I’ve saved 20% of the scooter cost in Ubers alone. And imagine the fuzzy feeling of running around on electricity not gas. My mechanic brain is planning some additional-detachable-battery mods and a small voltage bump within the controller limits, but that’s more for fun because the scooter needs nothing. I’m sure the after-sales support is great too judging by what I’ve seen, and also Chuck loves dogs and that is always a green flag. They were super helpful in giving me all the info I needed about the scooter, too, and establishing a support line for any further needs!There are lots of scooter shops in NYC, but these guys have been in business for a long time, for a reason. Hope to see you all scootin around!
