He sets you up with tips and tricks that allow you to succeed in wig making. The environment is fun and Casey is very hands on every step of the way. You will leave the workshop inspired. The next morning, I arrived without appointment and with deep sense of urgency. Helena and her team were patient and gracious with me as I learned to navigate receiving a cranial prosthesis. I returned a day later to pick up the beautiful masterpiece and she wouldn’t let me leave until I felt it was perfect for me.

This store front doesn’t exist anymore. It was a very sketchy feeling as it was all men and the man in the front still sent me to the back even though he knew the store was closed. I went yesterday (2/7/2023) and the man I encountered in the back of the store said they haven’t been open for two years but people keep coming.

I absolutely love this place! Esty is so incredibly helpful and sweet. I showed up without an appointment and she graciously accommodated me regardless of that. I was eligible for a Chanukah promotion and she added in a lot of extra price deductions, even though she really didn’t have to do that.One problem that I have with other Sheitel machers is that they push you to buy their wigs. If it’s not perfect as is, they’ll make promises but you’re essentially running on pure hope that it’ll work out. Esty isn’t like that; First, she carries loads of different wig brands, so if one wig doesn’t work for you/you seem not too into it, she immediately moves on to another without making you feel like, “it’s this or nothing”. She will actually show you/give you a visual idea of what the end result will look like. If you want highlights added in, she’ll hold up the highlighted wefts and mush it around a few of hairs in your wig so that you can actually see what it’ll look like once highlighted. If the cap is too loose, she’ll put a temporary pin in it to show you. She’s honestly the best. She knows everything about every wig. Another benefit is that because she carries almost every wig brand out there, it’s a one stop shop. You can check out every kind of hair texture and color from different brands and easily purchase a few brands that you like.She’s absolutely awesome. Definitely come here if you’re looking for a new wig.

I am very happy to have found Shuly Wigs. I’ve struggled for a while to find a wig that was comfortable and felt like “me.” I really wanted to find a short hair (almost but not quite a pixie) cut, and Shuly’s team worked with me over a several weeks to find the right wig, get it cut and styled to look natural, and make sure it fit perfectly. I wear it every day and love how I look in it. I have also purchased a wig from Shuly with shoulder-length hair, and it is also very comfortable and looks great. Ms. Shuly and her team were kind, meticulous with the details, and very patient with me! Highly recommend!

As I get most of my learning things, I went to the website to see what services offered in wig salons in NYC. After I read the items that were available, I made an appointment to meet with a stylist.I was able to get a convenient time for that week. When I came and met Alex, she was very easy to speak with. I had been in over 2 weeks when we talked about the human hair that I wanted and the color that I wanted, etc. Alex was able to make the perfect color and the cut is wonderful. I am coming again this week to make sure that I can wash and handle my hair.My close friends are telling me I look younger, and they love hair is great. Alex will be my close person going forward.
