Upon the recommendation of a friend who purchased a Rolex here, I decided to drop by since it’s pretty close to my workplace. However, my experience was far from satisfactory, especially considering my previous visits to various Rolex AD in the NYC area.

Upon entering, I was disappointed to find that the salesperson did not extend the courtesy of offering me a seat. Instead, I was swiftly handed two watch sizes to try on, with minimal engagement or explanation. It felt as though the sole objective was to rush me through the process. Contrastingly, my previous experiences at other ADs involved a warm welcome, offering of refreshments, detailed explanations about the watches, the waiting process, and recommendations for alternative options to try on.

Overall, I left the store feeling underwhelmed and overlooked

BUYER BEWARE. I asked them to source for me a certain watch in new condition. They admitted they were unable to find one in unused condition but they assured me the one they had was in mint condition. Luckily I did not pre pay for it but rather stopped by their shop to have a look. The watch was actually visibly bent yet they promised me it was mint condition. What convinced me they are crooks is because I left their shop on good terms thinking it was an honest mistake and they told me they will find me another one of the same model. Lo and behold they went blank and ignored my emails from the moment I left the shop.
I shudder to think what would have happened if I already prepaid for their scam.

I have only ever made large purchases in-person at authorised dealers and never sight unseen. Spending a great deal of money and having a watch sent half way around the world should have been a daunting experience but it wasn’t and that is because of Gary and the team at EiT. They replied promptly, were informative and patient allowing me to ask my questions about the watch, shipping and payment options. The watch was sent via FedEx priority international shipping arriving just days after postage.
The yellow gold JLC Duetto was even better than the photos, the description was spot on and I am very happy with the outcome.
Would I buy another watch from EiT, absolutely.

Anytime I searched for Pre-owned Rolex’s online, I find myself at the same 3 websites that seem to have competitive prices and a huge inventory. I bought a watch from one of these big companies (won’t name who as I am still trying to get a refund), and it came in poor condition and missing the papers that their description said were included. I was so frustrated at that point, I had to turn to Vol Timepieces. I called from Google and spoke to Daniel the owner and instantly knew that Vol Timpieces was the way to go. He was friendly but straight to the point, nothing salesman about him, and when we discussed trade-in pricing and group orders he was fair about the values and discounts respectfully. It just goes to show how much better your experience can be when you deal with a smaller shop where the margins are thinner and the staff put care and thought into each transaction.

I ended up not trading in anything but I did get two watches and Daniel gave me a good discount on the pair. Also, after the watches arrived and I reached back out to tell him I needed extra links, he express shipped them to me a day later.

Good service at a fair price, not much more you can ask for when dealing with used watches. I will use Vol Timepieces again one day soon!
